Aliyah Boston of the Indiana Fever and the rest of the WNBA not participating in the Olympics have roughly a month of rest. The same can be said for UConn star Paige Bueckers, who is entering her fifth year, and is still months away from the start of the NCAA season.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Bueckers is seemingly enjoying her vacation by admitting that she likes Shirley Temples, a cocktail made with ginger ale and grenadine. It's non-alcoholic, so no harm done for the people who don't want to see her drink.

"I know a Shirley Temple hate to see me coming," Bueckers tweeted.

Boston, who is probably on vacation, agreed with the UConn star by reposting her tweet and writing her own Shirley Temple post.

"To this day, it's me and a Shirley Temple forever," Boston wrote.

Aliyah Boston and Paige Bueckers were at the 2024 WNBA All-Star Weekend

Aliyah Boston was selected for her second straight All-Star Game and played nine minutes of action under head coach Cheryl Miller. Boston finished with four points and two rebounds as Team WNBA defeated Team USA 117-109 in a very entertaining matchup.

The Indiana Fever center also participated in several activities during the weekend. She attended an Adidas event featuring other WNBA stars and legends sponsored by the shoe giant. She was also at the red carpet event for all the players on Friday night.

On the other hand, Paige Bueckers was also in Phoenix during the weekend despite not being part of the WNBA just yet. She's a future star in the league and will likely be the first overall pick in next year's draft. She attended the All-Star Game and was seen in post with fellow Wasserman athletes.

Aliyah Boston admits bad start to the season almost took a toll on her mental health

The Indiana Fever had a really rough start to the season, and some fans were blaming Aliyah Boston for it. Boston appeared to be out of shape and was not aggressive enough to keep the defense on her.

Fast forward to July, the former No. 1 pick has come alive and is one of the reasons why the Fever are primed to make the playoffs. She will just need to maintain her performance in the second half of the season.

Boston also admitted to Andscape that her slow start to the season affected her mental health.

"I feel like it's taken a lot of mental strength over anything because to start this season. Honestly, I was not in a good spot. I felt like I was honestly starting over. I'm trying to figure out my footing with everything again, and so I feel like there was just so much talking behind the noise. Which was a big reason I got off social media, to make sure that I'm doing what I need to do. Since then, I've just been able to focus on me," Boston said.
