On Saturday, Aliyah Boston went on Instagram to show off her stylish pre-game look before her team Vinyl BC saw action in Unrivaled the day before. This prompted her WNBA teammate Lexie Hull to call her out for supposedly not upholding the same fashion standards prior to their Indiana Fever games.
Following Hull's playful jab, Boston went looking for top-tier stylist, leading her to a series of pics posted by South Carolina star Bree Hall.
The 6-foot-5 pro could not help but ask her former college teammate a fashion-related question in the comments section.
"Be my stylist?" Boston asked.
The pics show Hall sporting an all-black motif in her top, pants and bag. The word "GENUINE" is spelled out on her pants, emphasizing a key quality of the senior guard's personality.
Shortly after Hall posted these pics, Hall put on her South Carolina jersey and went to work against the fifth-seeded LSU Tigers. Hall had five points, five rebounds, one steal, and two blocks as No. 2 South Carolina won 66-56 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Boston and her Vinyl BC teammates found themselves on the losing end in their own weekend game. In Vinyl's 83-79 defeat at the hands of Laces BC, Boston tallied four points, two rebounds, and one block in just seven minutes of play.
Boston will have a shot at redemption on Monday when Vinyl (2-1) looks to end the undefeated streak of Lunar Owls BC (3-0).
Bree Hall sends love to Aliyah Boston after the Vinyl BC forward posts her Unrivaled jersey pics
Just over a week ago, it was Bree Hall who sent positive vibes to Aliyah Boston over images related to attire. On Jan. 17, Boston posted a series of pics revealing her Vinyl BC jersey:
"Let's have some fun," wrote Boston in her caption.
In the comments section, Hall had this to say:
"second of all," adding four heart-eyed emojis.
As Hall progresses in her basketball career, it'll just be a matter of time before she and Boston cross paths on the court once again — whether in the WNBA or Unrivaled.
