Katie Lou Samuelson had a three-word reaction to Kelsey Mitchell's post on The Player's Tribune, called 'Fever.'
The forward took to Instagram stories to support her teammate and share her post with the rest of the fans.
"love you kels ❤️," she captioned the post.
Kelsey Mitchell touched on several topics, including her father's death and how it made this season the hardest one for her.
"This was one of the hardest seasons I’ve ever been through, in basketball and in life. Because for the first time, I had to learn how to do it without my dad," she wrote.
Moreover, she reflected on having Caitlin Clark as a teammate and how her arrival impacted the Fever. Mitchell noted that she was proud of the rookie and all the new fans she brought to the arena and how the rest of the players utilized the attention to perform better.
Mitchell added that she respected the way Clark handled the criticism and all the external noise while praising her for bringing a spark to the team.
"And I have so much respect for Caitlin, especially, and how she handled it as a youngin’. I hope we did a good job of being there for you, too, C ❤️. I gave her her flowers early in the game because the eyes she brought shined a light on all of us, too."
