Angel Reese shone brightly on Saturday, delivering a standout performance for the Chicago Sky as they secured their first win of the WNBA season against the Dallas Wings with a score of 83-74 at College Park Center. Dubbed the "Chi-Town Barbie," Reese made significant contributions, playing 25 minutes and recording a near double-double with 11 points, nine rebounds and two assists. However, she also had four fouls.
Following the win, the former LSU standout took to X/Twitter to directly confront her persistent fouling issues.

The Wings surged ahead from a 26-26 tie to establish a commanding 42-30 lead at halftime. The Sky struggled from behind the arc, going just 1 of 9, and shot 28% overall (11 of 39) in the first half.
However, Chicago staged a remarkable comeback in the fourth quarter, outscoring Dallas 28-11 to erase an eight-point deficit. While Arike Ogunbowale led the Wings with 35 points and scored nine of their 11 points in the last quarter, the Sky received contributions from multiple players.
Marina Mabrey ignited the Sky's resurgence with a crucial 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter, tallying all 14 of her points in the second half. Elizabeth Williams followed with consecutive baskets, and Angel Reese made two two-point shots and a free throw to give Chicago a 67-65 lead with 6:29 remaining.
Reese again made a two-point shot on a Mabrey assist, extending Chicago's lead to 72-65 with 4:26 minutes remaining. Despite Ogunbowale's efforts, who scored the next nine points for Dallas, Chicago continued to widen the gap and eventually secured the win.
In the season opener on Wednesday, Ogunbowale showcased her scoring prowess by netting 14 of her 25 points in the fourth quarter. The Wings staged a remarkable comeback, scoring 14 unanswered points down the stretch to secure an 87-79 victory. Interestingly, while Dallas dominated the paint with a 60-42 advantage in points in the first game, the tables turned in the rematch, with the Sky leading 28-24 in points in the paint.
