Flau'jae Johnson showered her praise and admiration for the Chicago Sky star Chennedy Carter. On the third episode of the "Best of Both Worlds with Flau'Jae," the rapper and hooper for the LSU Tigers expressed her surprise at Chennedy Carter's snub from the All-Star Game.
Johnson had Phoenix Mercury star Kahleah Copper as a guest on the show. Flau'Jae revealed her top three WNBA players and shared her opinions on Chennedy Carter. The LSU Tigers player revealed that looking at Carter makes her think about improving her own game. Furthermore, she compared the Sky player to former NBA MVP and 11-time All-Star Allen Iverson.
"I have really been impressed by Chennedy Carter," Johnson said. "She's given them (Chicago Sky) anything they want, she's playing off the ball, on the ball nobody can guard her. She's big, she's strong, she's explosive, she can hoop."
"She give me like AI (Allen Iverson) vibes like she give me that."
She then brought attention to the Sky player, not making it as a WNBA All-Star this season. Johnson whistled into the microphone and said that she did not know about that decision being a great one.
Chennedy Carter has been great for the Chicago Sky this season, the Sky guard is averaging 17.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists. She had a slow start to the season with average performances but has picked up the pace and found her rhythm in recent Sky games.
In Chicago Sky's latest game (July 17) against the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces, Carter scored 34 points, collected four rebounds and dished out two assists to help her team secure a 93-85 win.
