Caitlin Clark fans got jokes for A'ja Wilson's supporters after the Indiana Fever star reportedly visited the Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. The young guard signed a multi-year deal with the company ahead of her WNBA rookie season and her signature shoe was announced before Wilson's.

On Friday, the user @nosyone4 on X posted a photo showing "Welcome Caitlin" banners in Nike headquarters, with a caption claiming Clark had visited the day before.

After news of Clark's whereabouts came out, plenty of fans reacted and decided to troll Wilson's fans on social media.

"Get ready for A'ja Wilson's fans. They'll cry from jealousy again when they read this," one fan said.
"A’ja merch gonna be reserved for TJ Maxx after this drop," another fan said.
"What are her 4 fans up to now?" another fan questioned.

Others didn't miss the chance and called out Nike for not putting out enough Caitlin Clark merch.

"They better be discussing how to release that merch. Btw, not them rolling out the red carpet," one fan said.
"I don’t know why Nike is so absent with CC promotion and marketing 😭," another fan wrote.
"They need to put something out very soon bc I'm still mad af about that bummy ROTY shirt 😂," another fan wrote.

Caitlin Clark's popularity reached new heights this season and plenty of fans wanted to see more merch from Nike to celebrate the former No. 1 overall pick.

Caitlin Clark's signature shoe release expected for next year

Fans couldn't understand Nike's decision regarding Caitlin Clark's signature shoe delay. After signing the contract with the company in May 2024, her signature shoe was pushed to 2026. Nike's CEO Elliott Hill explained the decision during the company's Q2 earnings call.

"We've launched a women's basketball program, which I didn't think we'd ever do. Sabrina, Matt already touched on it, No. 2 shoe in the NBA.
"And then, we have A'ja [Wilson] and Caitlin [Clark] coming back from behind and behind that. Sportswear, a new lineup around look at court, look at basketball, look at football, including the field general. So, net-net is the product's coming, and we're gaining confidence with each season," he continued.

Caitlin Clark is one of the most popular basketball players in the world, and fans will be waiting how Nike can continue to build up her brand.
