Clark is among the notable absentees from the Unrivaled 3x3 women's basketball league's inaugural season, where Reese is representing the Rose BC. Amid her absence from the latest venture in women's sports, Clark was spotted at the Chiefs' NFL playoffs game against the Texans next to Taylor Swift.

The Indiana Fever star has chosen to stay away from basketball after a grueling season, which started in November 2023 for her with Iowa and ended in September 2024 after she guided the Fever to the WNBA playoffs.

However, Clark's absence from Unrivaled was a topic of discussion on Saturday because she attended the Chiefs' game. In some ways, some felt she even stole the spotlight from the multi-million dollar league with her actions. That may have irked a few Angel Reese supporters, who taunted Clark for not playing in Unrivaled and opting to watch the Chiefs.

Clark's relationship with Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was another reason she was at the game. The Fever star was invited to watch the Chiefs after she attended consecutive Swift's Eras tour concerts at the Lucas Oil Stadium.

After the concert, Caitlin Clark received four bags of Eras Tour merchandise and a note from Swift that said she and Kelce wanted to attend a Fever game and watch a Chiefs game with her. Clark revealed this after winning the Time Magazine's Athlete of the Year award.
