Aliyah Boston and NaLyssa Smtih hyped their star rookie teammate Caitlin Clark after her historic triple-double performance. Clark led the Indiana Fever's victory charge against the first-seed New York Liberty. Boston and Smith took to X to celebrate Clark's feat after the thrilling home win on Saturday.

Caitlin Clark made WNBA history on Saturday as she became the first rookie to record a triple-double in the league. The star rookie recorded 19 points, 12 rebounds, 13 assists, and two steals to lead the Fever to an 83-78 victory against the Liberty. She also matched her career-high in both rebounds and assists in the game.
Clark's spectacular performance also clinched her more records apart from the triple-double feat. The 2024 draft's first overall pick's tally on Saturday made her the fastest WNBA player since 1998 to record 150 career assists, and also the first rookie in league history to record 350 points, 100 rebounds, and 150 assists.
Meanwhile, Aliyah Boston recorded 18 points, eight rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in the game while NaLyssa Smith registered a double-double performance with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and one steal.

During the postgame press conference after her historic triple-double performance on Saturday, Caitlin Clark spoke about the milestone and shared the credit for the feat with her team.
"I'm just happy we won. I take a lot of pride in being able to do a lot of different things for this team," Clark said. "Obviously 13 assists, that means my teammates made 13 shots off my passes, so that goes to them."
Aliyah Boston, who was sitting beside Clark during the interview, followed her teammate's response with a comment about Clark's modesty.
"She's so humble, isn't she? That's very cool, Caitlin. Great job, sister."
The game marked a significant win for the Fever in their fourth and final game against the Liberty this season. The Fever head into the matchup with an 0-3 record against the top-seeded Liberty out of which two matchups were blowouts.
With the win, the Indiana Fever climbed to the eighth spot in the WNBA standings with a 9-13 record. Meanwhile, the New York Liberty maintain the top spot with a 17-4 record in the season.
