Indiana Fever fans responded to several people trying to bring down their social media manager after posting a play where Aliyah Boston blocked a DiJonai Carrington shot. On Wednesday, the team's X (formerly Twitter) account had posted an animation of the play, which sparked comments from Fever fans.

On the other end, Carrington and Suns fans responded to the tweet, criticizing the person behind that decision and labeling it as 'hate' on the 2024 WNBA Most Improved Player of the Year. A verbal war started on social media, with Indiana fans defending the decision and the person behind it.

"Fu***ng crybabies, ain’t shit weird. It was an actual play and the fever is posting it, and the SUNS have done the same. It’s not weird behavior like DC be on or you be on. Gtfoh crying over an animation," one fan wrote.
"Can’t call an entire fanbase nasty and expect them to be all smiles with you😭," another fan said, referring to comments made about Fever fans.
"Why would Fever fans dislike someone who implied they are all racist 🤔," one fan questioned.

Others mocked the reaction these fans had and even celebrated the Indiana Fever's social media manager for posting the animation.

"they mad about this 😂," one fan joked.

In which Indiana Fever game did Aliyah Boston post that block over DiJonai Carrington?

This play took place in the third regular-season duel between the Indiana Fever and the Connecticut Sun on June 10. The Sun dominated that game from start to finish, taking a 3-0 lead in the head-to-head series with a comfortable 89-72 win.

At 5:16 in the third quarter, DiJonai Carrington received the ball from Alyssa Thomas, as she tried to go up for a layup. Aliyah Boston jumped and denied her, sending the ball out of bounds when the Sun were winning 65-39.

Coincidentally, Boston and Carrington led their respective teams in scoring that day, with the Fever forward scoring 14 and Carrington responding with 22. Boston added 12 rebounds, five assists, one assist and ironically, one block to her account.

Carrington completed that big night with six rebounds, three assists and three blocks.

After their first-round playoff series, several Connecticut Sun players accused Indiana Fever fans of being racist and other questionable things during the 2024 season. The battle between both parties doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.
