Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin dropped heartfelt reactions to former Iowa teammate Gabbie Marshall's date night pictures. Clark, Martin and Marshall starred for the Hawkeyes during their most successful run from 2021 to 2024. Marshall retired from basketball after her fifth year, opting to attend graduate school.
In a post on Instagram, Marshall shared snippets from her date night with her boyfriend Spencer Touro. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Sports and Diversion. He currently works as a personal trainer and baseball sophomore trainer coach.
"Date nights are my fav," Marshall wrote.
Several current and former Iowa players reacted to Gabbie Marshall's Instagram post, including Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin. Clark was drafted first overall by the Indiana Fever after leaving Iowa, while Martin was the 18th overall selection of the Las Vegas Aces.
"Hawtttttt. Love you two," Clark wrote.
"Cuties😍," Martin commented.
Other players like Tomi Taiwo, Jada Gyamfi, Kylie Feuerbach and Sydney Affolter also commented on Gabbie Marshall's post. Taiwo played four years at Iowa before playing her final year of eligibility at TCU, while Gyamfi, Feuerbach and Affolter are still in Iowa.

"Slay," Gyamfi commented.
Gabbie Marshall played five seasons in Iowa, averaging 6.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Marshall came off the bench as a rookie before locking down the starter spot from her sophomore season until her fifth year.
Instead of pursuing professional basketball, Marshall announced her retirement and decided to go to graduate school. She's now trying to get her Master's degree in occupational therapy in North Carolina, as per The Spun.
Caitlin Clark named to the All-WNBA First Team
Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever capped off her historic rookie season by being named to the All-WNBA First Team. Clark joined A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx, Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty and Alyssa Thomas of the Connecticut Sun.
The 22-year-old guard was also the first rookie to make the All-WNBA First Team since Candace Parker in 2008. She's just the fifth rookie in history to do it, Tamika Catchings, Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird being the others.
Apart from making the All-WNBA First Team honors, Clark was awarded the Rookie of the Year after a near-unanimous vote. She received 66 first-place votes out of the possible 67, with one voter giving it to Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky.
