Prior to Angel Reese ever competing for the Chicago Sky, the former LSU star signed a multi-year deal with Reebok that made her the face of the company's women's line. While Reese had a chance to sign with Nike, she opted to sign with Reebok, explaining that she likes to go against the grain and carve her own path rather than following popular trends.
In addition to wanting to carve her own path, one of the biggest deciding factors for Reese in deciding to join Reebok was Shaquille O'Neal, who was named the President of Reebok Basketball, with fellow NBA legend Allen Iverson serving as the Vice President of Reebok Basketball.
Reese and O'Neal have a great relationship going back her days at LSU given that O'Neal himself played for LSU in college before becoming an NBA star.
Now, with the WNBA season set to resume on Thursday, with she and the Sky playing the Phoenix Mercury in the league's first game back, Reese has shown fans a glimpse of her new Reebok collection in a story post on Instagram.
In her post, Angel Reese can be seen wearing a shiny grey Reebok sports bra, along with a matching pair of shiny grey bottoms.

Angel Reese opens up on her decision to sign with Reebok
While Reebok had a brief period of market dominance during the 90s and early 2000s thanks to standout athletes like Shaquille O'Neal, Allen Iverson, and Shawn Kemp, the brand then went through a rough patch.
As a result, the company rebranded their basketball line, putting the Hall of Fame duo of Shaquille O'Neal and Allen Iverson as the new heads of Reebok Basketball. As the company's first big move, they signed Angel Reese to a NIL deal that made the young star the face of their women's basketball line.
With the partnership, Angel Reese will get her own signature shoe, as well as her own line of merch. In a video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, the Chicago Sky forward explained why she signed with Reebok as opposed to Nike:
“What was it about Reebok? One, they didn’t have a woman, a women’s basketball player, a face. So I wanted to do that. Two, Shaq, you know, my relationship with Shaq, and three, I like how they were rebranding everything, and they’re like letting me be the creator behind like everything I want to do.
"So like I’m having my own shoe line coming out, merch, my name on it that y’all can be able to shop."
Reese's line with Reebok is reportedly set to drop later this month on Aug. 23, however, in the meantime, she has continued to turn heads with her eye-catching custom shoes.
