Polo G was the guest on the Thursday episode of Angel Reese's podcast, 'Unapologetically Angel.' The rapper touched on several topics in the show, going from his newfound passion for women's basketball to his NBA comparison and even his Mt. Rushmore of Chicago rappers.

When co-host Maya Reese asked "Pop Out" fame Polo G, also known as Taurus Tremani Bartlett, his Mt. Rushmore of Chicago rappers, it took a minute for him to crack it, but eventually came up with four remarkable names.

"I got Juice WRLD in there, you got to throw Ye in there, Kanye [West], he's one of the pioneers to this Chicago s**t. You got Juice WRLD, you got Kanye, I'll say Herb [G Herbo] just 'cause that's one of my personal favorite rappers... And Sosa, Chief Keef," he said.

Angel Reese tried to include Polo G on the list, but he had a humble response. The rapper, who broke into the scene with 'Gang With Me' in 2018, said:

"If you can stretch it, I'm in there. But if you just go off like, who put in the most time and work in the city, I ain't there yet though," he said.

Angel Reese refutes G Herbo dating rumors

After being spotted with rapper G Herbo on his Tesla cyber truck, plenty of fans were quick to draw speculations on Angel Reese's dating life. During the first episode of her show, she shot down those rumors while making it clear she wasn't seeing Kevin Durant, either.

"When I tell you that I can call G Herbo to this day, like that's somebody if I ever need anything in Chicago, he told me when I got drafted, if I ever need anything in Chicago, he'll make sure I'm straight. And it wasn't even like flirting or anything, it was straight off like, 'I got you sis,' 'cause I'm new to the city," Reese said.

After being selected as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, Angel Reese was embraced by the city of Chicago. She carried a lot of expectations after her successful journey at LSU and even though the team struggled to be competitive, Reese enjoyed a good rookie season.

In 34 games, she averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game with the Sky. She shot 39.1% from the field and 73.6% from the free-throw line.
