After seeing what she's capable of on the basketball court in her first WNBA season, it is safe to say that Caitlin Clark doesn't need to consider switching gigs. However, should she decide to switch careers, she could probably make a living as a play-by-play commentator.
Clark went viral on TikTok after her Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull posted a clip of her providing commentary for an MLB game. Apparently, Clark claimed she could do some commentating so Hull recorded her doing so.
The Indiana Fever rookie was asked about this viral moment by the media and she provided more info on what led to it while also giving a shoutout to commentators.
"I told [Lexie Hull] that sometimes I'll just commentate some games and she's like 'alright, do it right now,'" Clark said. "I didn't really know she was recording until a little bit ways through."
She also shared that she follows the Philadelphia Phillies of the MLB so she was familiar enough with them to provide some commentary.
"It was pretty funny," Clark continued. "I messed up a few times but that's a hard gig. Also, I was out of breath and exhausted so shoutout to all the commentators out there. Like, I did it for like two minutes and I needed a break."
Both Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull are young guards who will likely be key pieces for the Fever as they look to become contenders in the future. Hull was drafted in 2022 as the sixth overall pick by the Fever and has been steadily improving her game since.

Caitlin Clark has featured in another viral Lexie Hull TikTok before
Lexie Hull is quite active on TikTok and has had other posts featuring some of her Indiana Fever teammates.
In one other viral TikTok from Hull, Caitlin Clark can be seen swimming in a pool before Hull asks her if she wants to "play mermaids." Afterward, forward Katie Lou Samuelson also comes into the frame to join in on the fun.
Clark also has an official TikTok account but it seems she hasn't been actively posting. At least not since her days playing in Iowa.
Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull's floor-spacing on defense is key for the Indiana Fever in the playoffs
Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull's names are going to go down in Indiana Fever history as a part of the squad to break the franchise's long playoff drought. Now, both young players could etch their names even deeper by helping the team beat the Connecticut Sun in the first round.
While Clark is already well known as a sharpshooter and a fantastic ballhawk, Hull has also risen to become a reliable three-and-D player.
This season, Hull has made 47.1% of her three-pointers while averaging 2.1 attempts per game. On the defensive end, she has also been solid at picking up her assignment and forcing the occasional turnover with 0.6 steals per game.
