Las Vegas Aces star and leader of the 2024 USA Basketball women's team, A'ja Wilson, made a fun revelation about the Paris Olympic Games logo. Wilson posted on X oday that since she heard that the Paris Olympics looks like a 'lips and a bob' she has a hard time trying not seeing it that way.
She clarified that she knows it is a flame, but it's hard for her to see it as the original design.
"Ever since they said the Paris Olympics logo looks like lips and a bob i can’t unsee it no matter how hard i try😩😂😂 I knows it’s a 🔥," Wilson wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Wilson and company are getting ready to win their record-breaking eighth consecutive gold medal in this year's Olympics. A'ja Wilson has become the face of the competition, especially this year when she's a strong candidate to win both the MVP and DPOY awards.
Wilson and the rest of the team are now focused on one goal: winning Olympic gold again
A'ja Wilson dominated against Germany in lone pre-Olympic exhibition game
After losing to the WNBA All-Stars, Team USA traveled to London to face Germany, a team with three WNBA stars: Satou and Nyara Sabally and Leonie Fiebich. They didn't make much of a difference against the Americans, who dominated the game from start to finish, getting an easy 84-57 win over the German squad.
A'ja Wilson shined for her team, dropping a double-double with 19 points, 14 rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one assist to her account. She demonstrated that she's the leader of this team and the offensive runs through her. It'll be hard for their opponents in the Olympics to stop the Aces star and her teammates.
Team USA will start its Olympic journey next Monday, July 29, against Japan. They will hit the court again two days later when they face Belgium. They will close out their group-stage matches with a duel against Germany on August 4.
