22-year-old Angel Reese has shown tremendous growth in her game in just 19 games into her professional career. The icing on the cake moment came on Friday when Reese made her first career shot from the three-point range.
Reese was impressive all night as she spearheaded Chicago Sky's 88-84 win over the Seattle Storm. The rookie put on a masterclass on the offensive end of the floor.
Reese's ability to score points from inside the painted area has never been in question. The Sky rookie on Friday showcased that she boasts the confidence and ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc if left unguarded.
Reese made two three-pointers against the Seattle Storm. Her first career three-point shot came from the corner while the second came from the top of the key.
As soon as Reese made the first three-pointer of her career, there was an outburst of reactions from the netizens. Numerous hoops fans were pleasantly surprised and applauded the Sky rookie.
One of the fans tipped the 22-year-old as the favorite to win the Rookie of the Year award while others applauded the growth in the Sky star's game.
"Aye, the way Angel is playing tonight…. For the first time all year, I give Reese the edge on ROTY. Clark better not have a stinker tomorrow lol," a fan wrote.

"Angel Reese is getting better and better offensively at an exponential rate. So special her GROWTH (And she had this range in high school!)," said another fan.
There was a section of fans who also took a subtle jibe at Reese after the rookie made her first three-pointer.
"Girl wanna be CC so bad," commented one fan.
"Horrible jumper," wrote another fan while commenting on Reese's shooting form.
"It only took half the season for her to make 1, I repeat 1. She just needs triple the amount to be Caitlin Clark," commented anther fans while comparing Reese with Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark.
Angel Reese from the three-point range
Angel Reese has never been a volume three-point shooter. The rookie, however, has the knack of knocking down jumpers from time to time. During her college career, Reese attempted just 32 shots from beyond the arc and converted a mere five attempts into three-point baskets.
In her WNBA rookie season, Reese has attempted six three-pointers. After her first four attempts from downtown didn't yield any return, Reese's 5th and 6th attempts paid rich dividends for the Chicago Sky.
If Reese improves her shooting further and becomes even an average shooter from beyond the arc, the opposition teams would have a nightmare guarding the Sky rookie.
