In one of her latest Instagram stories, Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese showed her followers how she's pampering herself in the offseason. Reese got a treatment that she seemed to really enjoy, making her rate it a full 10 out of 10 experience.
According to the 2024 rebounding leader, she got her first ever Korean facial. She did not share the process but did post a selfie for her IG followers. She also included the following caption:
"I love getting facials!" Reese wrote. "Got my first Korean facial today & it was a 10/10."
Now that the WNBA is in its offseason, Angel Reese has more time to focus on self-care. Something that she truly deserves after a fantastic rookie season.
While other players are back on the court in different overseas leagues, Reese's fans will need to wait before they see her in action again. She will play in the "Unrivaled" league, set to tip-off this coming January.
Unrivaled is a 3-on-3 league co-founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. These are two people who, interestingly, were on opposite sides in the 2024 WNBA Finals.
Stewart and Collier's league will feature six teams of five players. Aside from featuring both co-founders, players like Kelsey Plum, Jewell Lloyd, Brittney Griner and Courtney Vandersloot are taking part. So far, 24 of the 30 players have been announced.
Angel Reese and Shaquille O'Neal disagree on "Unapologetically Angel"
Angel Reese had four-time NBA champion Shaquille O'Neal as a guest on the Oct. 24 episode of "Unapologetically Angel." During his guest appearance, Shaq shared his opinions on how WNBA players can get paid more.
Shaq made a bizarre comment, telling Reese to imagine herself dunking while wearing the shorts she had at the Wild 'n Out event. Reese then tried to cut Shaq off from talking about it further.
Shaq also tried to share his opinions on how to make the WNBA more appealing to fans. According to him, the women's league needs more players to dunk regularly. According to the four-time NBA champion, the way to ensure this is to lower the rim.
Reese stood her ground and said that this would not change a thing. According to her, even if women dunked, they would not receive the same value that men do. Shaq tried to explain that in volleyball, women are more popular than men and part of it is because the net is lowered.
Angel Reese steered the conversation away and the two eventually ended up agreeing on something. The two briefly talked about the Olympics and discussed how well the women there performed.
