Nika Muhl showed her appreciation for former teammate Paige Bueckers after receiving a special bucket from her. The Seattle Storm star uploaded an Instagram story featuring a basketball-themed bucket with a Nike logo on top of the lid.
She accompanied her thoughts on the surprise package in the caption of her upload.
"No Way twin sent me a whole bucket," Muhl wrote.
In a following story, the guard uploaded a boomerang video of the new Paige Bueckers Nike sneakers. Muhl held the sneakers from the laces and suspended them in the air. She twirled them to give her 521K followers a good look at the brand-new shoes.
"I'm in love."
Nike signed Bueckers to a NIL deal in Sept. 2023. A year later, the Huskies star has finally got her own signature show line line, making her the first student-athlete with a shoe line of her own.
Bueckers' signature sneaker is called Nike G.T. Hustle 3 Paige Bueckers Player Edition. The shoe had a gradient finish on the body where the main sky blue accent fades into the white midsoles. The Swoosh on the sneaker has a burgundy outline with lavender color filling it insides to match the laces.
Per Sports Illustrated, Bueckers' signature sneakers will retail for $190 and will be available for purchase on the Nike SNKRS website and app from Dec. 7.
