Since breaking into the world of podcasting, Jeff Teague has mainly gone viral for his funny stories from his playing days. However, the former NBA champion has sparked a massive debate between fans following some recent comments.

While on his "Club520" podcast, Teague was asked about A'ja Wilson taking on any current NBA player. He quickly shot down the idea of the three-time MVP beating her male counterparts. Teague ended up taking things a step further by saying Wilson couldn't beat any guy in the G League or college either.

Since Jeff Teague let out this bold take, NBA and WNBA fans have continued to debate both sides of the argument on social media:

Jeff Teague also let out a bold remark regarding Caitlin Clark and Bronny James

Jeff Teague's comments about A'ja Wilson are not the first time he's sold a WNBA player short against their male counterparts. Along with jabbing at the league's top star, he also touched on one of the future faces of women's basketball.

Last season, one of the most talked about players in the WNBA was Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark. Despite putting together one of the best rookie seasons in league history, Teague doesn't like her chances against a second-round pick in the NBA.

Following the debate about Wilson, Jeff Teague was asked about a hypothetical matchup between Clark and Bronny James. He doesn't think the Fever guard would be able to get a shot off let alone score against the LA Lakers prospect.

"Caitlin would not score a point on Bronny," Teague said. "She would not even get a shot off."

Clark put together a rookie season where she broke numerous records and got her team to the playoffs. Meanwhile, Bronny has barely seen minutes in the NBA outside of garbage time. He's shown some nice flashes in the G League but is still a work-in-progress as a prospect.
