"and do!!!" Reese wrote, seemingly completing Woods' caption.
Angel Reese is slowly turning into a fashion icon as she showcases her sense of style on her social media and the Chicago Sky's pregame entrances.
"Playoffs next year": Angel Reese makes bold claim following Sky's WNBA playoff miss
The Chicago Sky failed to make the playoffs this season for the first time since they last missed it in 2018. While it seemed that they would clinch the eighth and final playoff berth, the Atlanta Dream made a late surge to snatch that spot.
While watching Game 1 of the first-round playoff series between the Dream and the New York Liberty on Sunday, Angel Reese took to Instagram, predicting the Sky to make the playoffs next season.
"we will make the playoffs next year!! 🙏🏼😇," Reese captioned her IG story.
Angel Reese was unable to help the Chicago Sky in their final stretch to make the playoffs after she was listed out for the season due to a wrist injury. She wouldn't have played in the playoffs even if the Sky had managed to secure the final spot.
The seventh overall pick of the 2024 WNBA draft concluded her historic rookie season, averaging a double-double stat line of 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals. She shot 39.1% from the field and missed the Sky's final six games of the season.
With her strong rebounding presence, Reese broke many records in her rookie season, most notably her 15-game double-double streak.
The Sky rookie also got one fourth-place vote in the WNBA MVP race.
