Ahead of the Indiana Fever's home matchup against the Phoenix Mercury on Friday, Caitlin Clark relieved sports photographer Bri Lewerke of her duties for some time. The Fever's star rookie borrowed Lewerke's camera to click photos of her teammates and fans as they warmed up for the matchup.
Lewerke took to X, formerly Twitter, to share the photos clicked by Clark in two parts. The pictures featured Fever players Lexie Hull and Erica Wheeler, among others.
Friday's game concluded with Caitlin Clark dropping yet another historic performance as the Fever clinched a 95-86 home victory against the short-handed Mercury. The contest featured Clark stacking up with multiple records as she registered her fifth straight double-double with 20 points, 13 assists, six rebounds, one steal and two blocks in the win.
Clark tied the franchise record for most assists in a game, became the first rookie in WNBA history to post multiple games of 20+ points and 10+ assists and also became the first rookie to record 400 points, 150 assists and 100 rebounds in a season.
