The Minnesota Lynx had a wild celebration after becoming the Commissioner's Cup champions defeating the New York Liberty 94-89. The pictures and videos from their celebration were uploaded on the official social media accounts of both the Minnesota Lynx and the WNBA.

In the Lynx's post, the players can be seen having the classic champagne celebration. The players can be seen showering champagne in their locker room with everyone beaming with pride. Even the head coach Cheryl Reeve joined the squad for some fun.

In WNBA's post, the Champions can be seen posing for the winner's photographs that would go down in the history books. They are standing in front of a white marble-textured backdrop with the Commissioner's Cup trophy in their hands.

Bridget Carleton was the star of the night for the Minnesota camp as she scored a team-high 23 points, collected four rebounds, dished out five assists and made three successful steals.

Napheesa Collier was the second-leading scorer for her team on Tuesday night. She dropped 21 points, collected six rebounds, made three successful steals and provided three crucial assists to secure victory for her team.

Courtney Williams played the role of the ultimate supporter in her match against the Liberty. She was very impactful in the entire game helping her teammates to march towards victory. She scored 11 points, collected four rebounds, made three successful steals and dished out eight massive assists for her team.

The Liberty put up a great fight with Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu leading the way with 24 and 23 points respectively. However, they fell short by nine points in the third quarter which gave Lynx the opening to cease victory.

Napheesa Collier speaks on the Minnesota Lynx's lack of recognition

Napheesa Collier spoke on the lack of recognition for her team in the WNBA. The Minnesota Lynx are four-time WNBA champions and despite having the third-best record (13-3) this season are not talked much about in the media.

After the game against the Liberty, a reporter asked Collier about her thoughts on the lack of recognition of her team and what message she wanted to send to everyone with the Commissioner's Cup victory.

"We're here, what else is there to say," Collier said.

The Minnesota Lynx are one of the strongest teams this season and are looking like serious championship contenders. Barring any major injury setbacks, it would not be a surprise if they ended up as the WNBA champions for a fifth time.
