The Paris Olympics are just a few days away, and New York Liberty's Nyara Sabally is already gearing up for it. Aside from sharpening her basketball skill set for the much-anticipated multisport event, Sabally recently showed off her 14-karat gold Olympic-themed grill. It was shared on Instagram by jewelry page fineassfronts.
Sabally will represent the Germany Women's Basketball Team alongside her older sister, Satou, in the Olympic Games. It will also be the team's first Olympic appearance as they look to make their presence known in the competition. They are joined by the U.S., Belgium and Japan in the same bracket.
The pictures on Instagram featured close-up snaps of Sabally showing off her stunning new grills. The store also included a caption wishing the Liberty forward all the best.
"14k gold Olympic rings for the beautiful @nyarasabally. Wishing my girl well as she competes in the 2024 Olympics in Paris."

Nyara Sabally talked about the exciting opportunity to represent her country in the 2024 Paris Olympics
With the Germany Women's Basketball Team set on making noise in Paris, Nyara Sabally shared that the energy is ecstatic within the squad, as per the Associated Press' Doug Feinberg.
"We're just there to have fun," Sabally said. "It's basketball, you never know what's going to happen. I'm really confident in our team and I think we have a really good team."
It is the team's first Olympic appearance, so they enter the international competition without much pressure. Instead, they are focused on playing their style of basketball and having fun together doing it.
This season, Sabally is averaging 3.2 points (60.9 percent shooting) and 2.9 rebounds per game with the Liberty.
Satou Sabally shared what she learned from Nyara Sabally
During an interview with CBS Sports' Jack Maloney, Dallas Wings forward Satou Sabally highlighted what she learned from her younger sister.
"Perseverance," Sabally said. "That comes right away in my mind. For her it was a never a question. She always wanted to play basketball and really fought through her injuries and rehabbed — it's hard to rehab and when I had to go through it I was always thinking of my sister and thinking of how she's overcoming such severe injuries ..."
Before she debuted in 2023, Nyara Sabally injured her right ACL twice. The first time it happened was back in 2018, and then it happened again during the 2019-20 season. She also missed the entirety of the 2022 season, as she aggravated her right knee before her expected rookie year in the WNBA even began.
Meanwhile, her older sister Satou had undergone a shoulder procedure after she had injured her left shoulder during the Olympic qualifiers. The process has been challenging, but Sabally channeled what her younger sister went through to come out stronger in her recovery.
