LA Sparks rookie Cameron Brink continues to rehabilitate from the season-ending ACL injury she suffered back in June. But it has not stopped her from sporting her favorite swimsuits while enjoying the sun in Los Angeles.

She dumped photos of her in swimwear on Instagram, just as she chronicled her journey back to being fit.

Cameron Brink was selected second overall in this year's WNBA draft after a stellar collegiate career at Stanford, where she established herself as a topnotch defensive player.

She became a key player with the Sparks as their starting center until her rookie season was cut short to just 15 games after she tore her ACL against the Connecticut Sun on June 18. She had surgery days after and began her recovery.

At the time she got hurt, Cameron Brink was averaging a team-high 2.3 blocks per game, along with 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 22 minutes of play.

Cameron Brink missed Paris Olympics 3x3 basketball

While the United States won a 3x3 women's basketball bronze medal in the just-concluded Paris Olympic Games, one analyst believed that Cameron Brink could have helped the team go even higher in the tournament.

Initially selected to play for the U.S. 3x3 women's team, along with Hailey Van Lith, Rhyne Howard and Cierrea Burdick, Brink saw her Paris Olympic dreams collapse after she suffered a season-ending knee injury shortly after she was named to the team.

The 6'4" hooper was eventually replaced by her LA Sparks teammate and WNBA All-Star Dearica Hamby.

On the Locked On Women's Basketball podcast, analyst Noa Dalzell of SB Nation shared her thoughts on how the loss of Brink affected Team USA's push in the Olympics.

She said:

"I think Cameron Brink is someone who really could be on a 3x3 roster. Not only offensively can she bring a lot to the table obviously but defensively, there have been some costly mistakes and there's nobody to kind of plug that gap and kind of overcorrect their teammates' errors."

Adding:

"She's really, really missing from this group. I think everybody knew that she was really hard to replace ... But yeah, I think this team probably wouldn't be in this position if she was healthy and she was able to compete."

The U.S. finished the tournament behind gold-medal winners Germany and silver medalists Spain. The Americans defeated Canada 16-13 in the bronze-medal game, led by Van Lith's six points.
