Indiana Fever's new head coach, Stephanie White, is preparing to join forces with Caitlin Clark. She'll be leading one of the most surprising teams in the 2024 WNBA season after two campaigns with the Connecticut Sun.
White is seemingly invested in her new chapter and her social media activity confirms that she's trying to create meaningful relationships with her players. On Wednesday, she celebrated Clark being named the TIME Athlete of the Year with three fire emojis.

She added another message for Aliyah Boston on her special day.
"Happy birthday @aliyah.boston," White wrote.

She celebrated Boston and Clark after they joined a legend of the game as Rookie of the Year award winners. She shared Indiana Fever's Instagram post of Tamika Catchings next to Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark.

In the two seasons with the Sun, Stephanie White posted a 55-25 record (including 28-12 last season), taking the team to two straight semifinal appearances. This season, they went against the Minnesota Lynx in the second round of the playoffs, but couldn't do much against Napheesa Collier and Co.
Stephanie White compares Caitlin Clark to pop star
Stephanie White is aware of the challenges Caitlin Clark will face during her WNBA career and compared her star power to one of the biggest pop stars in the world, Taylor Swift.
"I don't think that any one of us can really probably understand you know, what she goes through on a daily basis. She carries a heavy load with our league, and with her abilities, certainly, but where we are from this tipping point in the WNBA and from popularity, that I say, she's like Taylor Swift 2.0."
After a terrific 2024 WNBA season, Clark is ready to take her game to the next level. She won the Rookie of the Year award after playing a crucial role in the Fever's remarkable turnaround in the second part of the campaign.
The Indiana Fever went from a 1-9 start to the season to a 20-20 record that secured them the No. 6 seed in the WNBA standings.
