"Indy's dynamic duo" - Fans react as Caitlin Clark features in new ad with legendary quarterback Peyton Manning

There's no denying that Caitlin Clark is the biggest athlete in the state of Indiana. But before she arrived last year, the Hoosier State was once the home of legendary quarterback Peyton Manning, who starred in a TV campaign with Clark that was shown in Indianapolis.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Fox59 reporter Max Lewis shared the advertisement showing Clark and Manning. The dynamic duo was inside an operating room, with the Colts legend doing some surgery on a teddy bear.

Lewis explained that it was a commercial for St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. The hospital has ties with the quarterback, who houses his Peyton Manning Children's Hospital inside St. Vincent. The ad is reportedly airing in local stations in the city.

Sports fans couldn't believe it, especially those from Indianapolis. Caitlin Clark's fans also reacted to her acting skills, with a few jokes about winning an Academy Award.

"Indy's dynamic duo," a fan wrote.

"Her acting is getting better; thank god," one fan quipped.

"The Caitlin Clark collaboration we all needed," another fan remarked.

Peyton Manning spent 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, leading them to a Super Bowl win in 2006. Manning also won four NFL MVP awards there. He left in 2012 to join the Denver Broncos, helping them win the Super Bowl in his final year in 2015.

Clark has appeared in commercials for Nike, Gatorade and State Farm. She had a viral ad with Jimmy Butler for State Farm during her peak season at Iowa.

Caitlin Clark turned 23 on Wednesday, but that didn't stop her from working in the gym and on her shooting. She was feeling it from beyond the arc, making 50 of 54 attempts. It was caught on video and uploaded by the Indiana Fever on social media.

Clark got it going, reminiscent of how Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors shoots the ball. It was a great way to celebrate her birthday, showing her dedication to her craft.

The Fever coaching staff and team personnel were waiting for Clark to finish her workout before surprising her with a birthday cake. She blew the candles but didn't reveal her wish.

Clark has stayed in Indianapolis during her first professional offseason, working with new coach Stephanie White. She has also been actively supporting her boyfriend Connor McCaffery by attending Butler games.
