The Rose Basketball Club is set to face the Laces Basketball Club in the second of two Unrivaled games scheduled for Monday. Angel Reese is expected to suit up for Rose BC and go head-to-head with fellow 2024 WNBA draft class star Kate Martin.
Reese has participated in all three games for Rose BC in the inaugural 3x3 league but hasn’t had an ideal start to the campaign. The Chicago Sky superstar has struggled to find consistency, mirroring her team’s performance. Rose BC currently sits in fourth place in the standings with a 1-2 record.
After starting their season with back-to-back losses, Rose BC finally snapped their losing streak with a 71-66 win over Mist BC in their previous game. However, Reese had a quiet outing and wasn’t part of the closing lineup.
The former LSU standout started the game but logged just eight minutes, finishing with four points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal while committing three turnovers. She shot 2 of 6 from the field and didn’t attempt a 3-pointer.
Through three games, the 6-foot-3 forward is averaging 8.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Although the season is still in its early stages, the reigning WNBA rebounding leader will be eager to deliver a more impactful performance and help her team secure victories. Monday presents Angel Reese with another golden opportunity to step up and showcase her full potential.
