Jason Whitlock strongly condemned Caitlin Clark on his social media account. The 'Fearless' host reposted a Clark Report's post on X (formerly Twitter) and expressed his thoughts in the caption of his repost.

The Clark Report, a fan page dedicated to Caitlin Clark, shared an important update to emphasize that it focuses solely on celebrating the Indiana Fever star's basketball achievements and does not discuss her political views or affiliations.

While Whitlock appreciated the account and its work, he criticized the Fever star and compared the WNBA star to former soccer player and WNBA icon Sue Bird's partner, Megan Rapinoe.

"The Clark Report is a great hustle for you. I enjoy your posts. However, many us liked Clark because she could hoop and she wasn't political. She was like Michael Jordan," Whitlock said in his caption.
"We didn't care about her supporting our views. We wanted her to resist the WNBA programming of entitlement and victimhood. She didn't. Not really surprising. But now that we know, we're less enamored with Clark as she becomes Megan Rapinoe Lite."

Neither Whitlock nor the Clark Report mentioned the Indiana Fever star's statements, which led to their posts. However, the Rookie of the Year spoke about white privilege and the upliftment of black women in her interview with TIME magazine as the Athlete of the Year.

"I want to say I’ve earned every single thing, but as a white person, there is privilege," Clark said. "A lot of those players in the league that have been really good have been Black players. This league has kind of been built on them."

However, some fans did not appreciate Caitlin Clark's statements and criticized her online.

WNBA fans react to Jason Whitlock's criticism of Caitlin Clark for giving into WNBA's 'entitlement and victimhood'

Whitlock's repost elicited varied reactions from WNBA fans following his views.

One fan urged that people focus on the game for what it is.

"Why does everything have to come with a message...can't we just enjoy the game for the sake of the game?"

Other fans followed his trail and expressed similar sentiments.

"yup, true words. she should have kept her mouth shut. who wants to watch an activist league? I'll give her some grace, but if she keeps it up, I'm out," a fan said.
"They'll be back to 2,500 fans in no time," another fan said.
"She was a rebel, now, she’s part of the establishment hierarchy but her peers will not respect her," another fan said.

Other fans trolled former soccer star Megan Rapione because of Whitlock's remark on Caitlin Clark.

"Woah woah woah, I don’t agree with what she said but Meagan Rapinoe is a whole nother level."
"Agree, my thoughts exactly... another Megan Rapinoe mentality... what a shame," another fan said.

Caitlin Clark had a great run last season, leading the Fever to a playoff qualification for the first time since 2016. Now that the WNBA is in the offseason, the Fever star is testing the waters in another sport.
