Kysre Gondrezick, the girlfriend of Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, took to social media to proudly celebrate her younger brother, Grant Gondrezick II, for his impressive recent performances. Grant, a freshman for the Detroit Mercy Titans, had two standout games last week.

First, Grant tallied 21 points, five assists, one steal and a block against IU Indy, though the Lions suffered a tough 95-61 loss. He followed up with 19 points, six rebounds and five assists in a game against Purdue Fort Wayne, but once again, the Lions lost decisively 90-67.

On her Instagram Stories, Kysre shared her pride with a one-word reaction to her brother’s achievements.

“Stud!” she wrote in the caption.

Grant’s recent performance was a major improvement after struggling in his previous three games, where he totaled just 10 points, including a scoreless outing against Robert Morris in Detroit Mercy's first game of 2025.

Earlier this season, Grant recorded a career-high 22 points in a thrilling 98-89 overtime win against Eastern Michigan in late November. He shot a solid 7-for-14 in that game, including 2-for-4 from beyond the arc and 6-for-7 from the free-throw line.

Kysre Gondrezick says her WNBA career isn’t over yet

Kysre Gondrezick was selected as the fourth pick in the 2021 WNBA draft by the Indiana Fever.

In her rookie year, she played in 19 games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.0 rebounds in 9.1 minutes per game.

In February 2024, she signed with the Chicago Sky for training camp and officially joined their roster in May. She appeared in five games before being waived by the team in June, making her a free agent.

In an interview with The Post in November, Kysre expressed her ongoing interest in returning to the WNBA but also mentioned she is exploring other hobbies, including modeling and acting.

"I’m just excited to see the outcome of what my journey is going to be with the W, because I don’t think that I’m done anytime soon," Gondrezick said. "I don’t want to say that that was an ending. I want to say it was more so a transition."
"I am all over the place right now … I’m in acting classes, acting training. I’m getting ready to shoot some film work for 2025. It’s been a heck of a year. It is funny, someone said, ‘You have trended more since you’ve been cut and since you were in the league — and you were trending so much in the league.’ I’m just living in the beauty of my purpose."

Kysre Gondrezick had hoped to join the Unrivaled league but was not among the players announced.
