Miami Heat superstar Jimmy Butler showed up at the Crypto.com Arena on June 7 for the WNBA game between LA Sparks and Dallas Wings sporting a Cameron Brink jersey. Butler showed his support for the women's game as he sat courtside and watched the action unfold at the Crypto.com Arena just like the thousands of other expectant fans.

After the final buzzer sounded and the game between LA Sparks and Dallas Wings came to an end, Jimmy Butler shared a heartfelt moment with Cameron Brink.

The Sparks' rookie Brink walked up to Butler and the two stars shared a warm hug and interacted briefly before posing for the cameras.

After sharing a heartfelt moment with Butler and seeing the Miami Heat superstar in her jersey, Brink was quite thrilled.

According to LA Sparks reporter Fredo Cervantes, Brink screamed "OMG, Jimmy is wearing my jersey!" in the hallway after the game.

During the game, Jimmy Butler also spoke about the progress of women's basketball. The Miami Heat superstar lavished immense praise on WNBA players as they continue to take the game forward.

Butler underlined that women can play basketball and can do everything men can.

“Women can hoop. They can do everything we can do if not more. They come out here and put on a show. I love it," Butler said in a courtside interview.

The warm embrace and the heartfelt moment shared between Jimmy Butler and Cameron Brink instantly went viral on social media. Butler was not disappointed by the LA Sparks rookie's performance on the night.

Cameron Brink plays well in front of Jimmy Butler

Cameron Brink had a solid performance in the LA Sparks' 81-72 win over the Dallas Wings on June 7. Hooping in front of the home crowd and Jimmy Butler, Brink registered a double-double on the night and helped her team bag the much-needed victory.

Brink played 26 minutes in the game, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in the process. The versatile center went 5-11 from the field but failed to convert either of her two three-point attempts.

Along with the points and rebounds, Brink also had one assist, two blocks and two steals in the game.

Brink's double-double performance not only helped deliver the much-needed victory to the LA Sparks, but it also bolstered the fans' confidence in the rookie, who had a couple of bad games in a row previously.

Brink fouled out in the LA Sparks' previous WNBA game against the Minnesota Lynx. Throughout the season, Brink has struggled to play defense without fouling.

During the game against Dallas Wings on June 7, Brink managed to keep herself in the game but once again flirted with danger. Overall, she finished the game with five fouls to her name. One more and she could have fouled out again.
