Indiana Fever forward Aliyah Boston is preparing for the upcoming Unrivaled 3x3 tournament, scheduled for Saturday. In a video posted Monday on Instagram by her team, Vinyl Basketball Club, Boston sank a long-range shot that drew comparisons to her Fever teammate Caitlin Clark's shooting style.
She was visibly excited as the shot made its way into the net. She responded to the moment by dropping a three-word reaction on the repost via her Instagram Story.
"I'm so weak"

Aliyah Boston joined the tournament as its 30th player. Although her Fever teammate Caitlin Clark won't be taking part in the tournament, she will be competing alongside Arike Ogunbowale, Rae Burrell, Rhyne Howard, Jordan Canada and Dearica Hamby.
The tournament was co-founded by former UConn teammates and WNBA rivals Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. Fans can catch the game via TNT on Mondays and Fridays, TruTV on Saturdays and streaming will be provided via Max.
Aliyah Boston on how the Unrivaled tournament is preparing her for season No. 3
Aliyah Boston has learned from the experience of her first WNBA offseason, when she focused on adding more muscle weight to offset the disparity she experienced in her rookie season. While 3x3 is different from her usual five-player game, the center is confident that it will help her.
"Allowing me to work in space, and allowing me to just be confident in the stuff I’ve worked on this offseason, I think that’s the biggest thing,” Boston said about the league.
“Knowing that I put in the work, and knowing that I put in time, and knowing those things will execute.”
She has already had time to work with new head coach, Stephanie White as well as player development coach Keith Porter during her training camp in December. She's hoping that the nature of the 3x3 Unrivaled tournament will sharpen her defensive skills ahead of the 2025 WNBA season.
Last season with the Indiana Fever, she averaged 14.0 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. She also made her second All-Star appearance and, alongside Caitlin Clark, led the Fever to its first postseason appearance in seven years.
