The Aces, starting a four-game road trip, had three straight wins coming into the game. Meanwhile, the Sun were wrapping up a three-game homestand after winning six of their last eight games since the Olympic break.
The Aces showcased their resiliency as they clawed back from 15 points down to clinch the 72-67 victory.
Kelsey Plum sparked the Aces early, hitting a 3-pointer and driving to the rim to score nine of her team's first 11 points.
However, the Sun quickly gained control, with Brionna Jones taking charge and Marina Mabrey energizing the team off the bench, hitting consecutive jump shots to push their lead to 22-15.

Plum continued her dominant scoring performance, adding 11 points in the quarter, including a late pullup jumper to bring her total to 21 points by the end of the period.
Wilson found her rhythm, scoring key baskets to keep the Aces within striking distance, finishing the quarter with 13 points.
Connecticut maintained its edge with Jones scoring six points in the quarter and Carrington and Tyasha Harris making key blocks to disrupt Las Vegas' attempts to take the lead.
In the fourth quarter of the Las Vegas Aces vs Connecticut Sun game, the Aces continued their strong comeback. A 3-pointer from Plum brought Las Vegas within a point at 64-65 with under four minutes left.
Wilson then made key plays, including two free throws, giving the Aces a 66-65 lead with 2:09 remaining—their first lead since the opening quarter. However, Jones responded with a cutting layup at the 1:17 mark to put the Sun back in front, 67-66.
Wilson answered with a step-back jumper, followed by a Chelsea Gray 3-pointer to seal the 72-67 win for the Aces.
Plum finished with 27 points to lead the Aces in the 15-point comeback. Wilson finished with 20, while Gray added 13.
Jones and Mabrey led the Sun with 17 and 15, respectively.
