The Aces capitalized on turnovers by the Wings and excelled in transition, ending the first quarter with a 25-18 lead.

In the second quarter, Wilson continued to display her MVP-level performance, leading the Aces with 11 points and bringing her game total to 17.

As the quarter neared its end, Sabally nailed a 3-pointer off an assist from Ogunbowale, cutting the Aces' lead to 42-37 by halftime.

However, the Wings used a 12-6 run to open the fourth quarter and trim the Aces' lead to two, 75-73, with six minutes remaining.

Howard drilled a jumper with 1:10 remaining to put the Dallas Wings ahead 88-87, initiating a free-throw battle. Jackie Young made two free throws to regain the lead for the Aces, but Howard split her free throws to tie the game at 90.
