LeBron James reacted to A'ja Wilson's historic night when she became the first player in WNBA history to score 1,000 points in a single season. Wilson has been having the best season of her career and proving that she's currently the best player in the world.
In a post on his Instagram stories, James shared a couple of images from ESPN featuring Wilson's emotional response to making history. The Las Vegas Aces superstar needed 29 points to accomplish the feat and did just that late in the fourth quarter of their win over the Connecticut Sun.
"King James" used a bunch of raising hands emoji to celebrate Wilson's achievement. The emoji is commonly used to celebrate a joyous event, which is seemingly perfect for the moment.

LeBron James knows a thing or two about breaking scoring records since he's the NBA's all-time leading scorer. James is also the only player in league history to have 40,000 points. He has already secured his legacy among the greats and some fans even argue that he's the GOAT or greatest of all time.
On the other hand, A'ja Wilson has two more games left in the season to pile onto her record to prevent other players from breaking it. It's also not too far-fetched to think that Wilson will try to break her own record in the future. She's just 28 years old and is just getting better by adding a 3-point shot to her repertoire.
LeBron James called A'ja Wilson the best player in the WNBA

A'ja Wilson was on a mission entering the season despite winning her second WNBA championship with the Las Vegas Aces. Wilson finished third in MVP voting last year and might have taken it personally by dominating the league this season.
LeBron James acknowledged Wilson's greatness back in July when Team USA was preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
"She's the best player in the WNBA as it stands today. They hit a hot streak ever since Chelsea Gray has come back. She's a big piece to their to their puzzle. They will be one of the teams that will compete for a championship," James said.
Wilson is averaging 27.0 points, 12.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.9 steals and 2.7 blocks per game this season. She's the favorite to win the WNBA MVP award and the only question is if she'll win it unanimously. Napheesa Collier and Caitlin Clark might get votes due to how great they have been this season.
