Caitlin Clark fans were irked after Indiana Fever star Lexie Hull showered Chelsea Gray with high praise for her exceptional playmaking skills. Hull is among the 36 players set to compete in the inaugural season of the 3x3 Unrivaled league. The Fever forward will play for Rose Basketball Club, which also features Gray and Angel Reese, among others, on its roster.

Hull has been training with her teammates in preparation for the competition. When asked about playing alongside a veteran and elite point guard like Gray, Hull spoke highly of the three-time WNBA champion, expressing admiration for her skills and experience.

"I’m used to getting right or left-handed passes...these passes are coming from around the head, behind the back, between the legs.. you just don’t know what coming," Hull said.

Fans, particularly Caitlin Clark supporters, were abuzz after Hull made her feelings clear on Chelsea Gray.

"Lexie Hull is already on her Scottie Pippen arc smh," a fan commented.
"Can’t believe she off all people will be the first to do that. Scottie Pippen must be proud," commented another fan.
"You better ready for the upcoming WNBA season then, because if you missed open layups created by CC from her "simple" pass, I will not be there to defend you," a fan wrote.
"If dem born you well, blow easy lay ups next season," wrote another fan.
"Lexie said she ain’t never played with an elite pg before," a user said.
"All I know is, I better not be seeing shit like this next season. That's all," said another.

Lexie Hull and Caitlin Clark played pivotal roles in the Indiana Fever's successful 2024 season, helping the team break an eight-year playoff drought. Clark led the charge as the offensive orchestrator, while Hull emerged as one of the league's most elite 3-point shooters.

Hull finished the season with an impressive 47.1% shooting accuracy from beyond the arc, ranking second in the league. Her success was largely fueled by Clark’s exceptional playmaking, particularly in the second half of the season. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year utilized her outstanding court vision to set up Hull with ample opportunities for open jump shots.

Clark, who led the league in assists during her rookie campaign, averaged an impressive 8.4 dimes per game, cementing her role as the driving force behind the Fever's resurgence.
