Last season, third-year WNBA player Lexie Hull and the rest of the Indiana Fever squad welcomed rookie Caitlin Clark to the team.

Throughout the year, fans packed arenas and flocked to personal devices to tune in to the Fever games. Meanwhile, Hull and Clark built up a friendship that saw the two start the offseason with a round of golf.

During an appearance on "The Ringer WNBA Show" this week, Hull was asked about how the 2024 season went for the team. While there were plenty of off-court storylines surrounding the team, footage from practices often showed the Fever unit laughing and having a great time.

Given that, it's no surprise that Hull had a hilarious story about Caitlin Clark from one of the Fever's practice sessions during the season. As the story goes, Fever coach Christie Sides, whom the team parted ways with this week, decided to put loud music on during practice to mimic the feeling of loud arenas.

"I can't remember where we were going but we knew the arena was going to be loud and so she turns on this like loud, loud music and Caitlin screams. 'Can someone turn it off? It's giving me a migraine.' And everyone's like 'What?' And Christie reacted and said, 'What did you say?' And she repeated it.
"And all of us, we were all dying because if I would have said that, if anyone on our team would have said that and then been asked 'What did you say?' No one else is repeating it. But she did and it was the funniest thing. We're all like rolling on the ground laughing."

Lexie Hull becomes the 29th player to join the all-new Unrivaled 3x3 league, leaving one spot open for Caitlin Clark to potentially join

Heading into the WNBA offseason, there was plenty of talk surrounding whether or not Caitlin Clark would join the all-new Unrivaled 3x3 league founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier.

So far, the league has a star-studded roster for its inaugural season, with players like Arike Ogunbowale, Kelsey Plum and Chelsea Gray committing to being part of the league's 30-player roster.

So far, however, Caitlin Clark hasn't committed to playing. Reports indicate that the league is preparing to make her an offer comparable to the one Lionel Messi received to join the MLS.

In the meantime, the league has received commitments for Kate Martin, who played alongside Clark at Iowa, and Lexie Hull. While some have viewed these moves as ones done to potentially entice Clark into playing, Hull boasts of an impressive 3x3 basketball resume.

In addition to being an NCAA champion and being a three-time All-Pac-12 Team member and All-Defensive Team member in college, she won gold at the Pan Am Games in 2023 while representing the US.

Because of that, she was included in the 2024 Paris Olympic player pool this summer, but didn't end up making the final roster.

With just one spot left on the Unrivaled 3x3 league's player roster, it will be interesting to see if Clark joins Hull.
