Angel Reese surprised plenty of fans and colleagues with her appearance on the VOGUE magazine's latest cover on Wednesday. The young WNBA star shared an Instagram post to announce her big moment.
She added three photos to the post, celebrating the achievement.
"COVERGIRL. IT’S ALWAYS BEEN BOTH: BASKETBALL AND FASHION," Reese captioned the post.
This post drew plenty of reactions not only from fans but celebrities and even other basketball players. Starting from WNBA legend Lisa Leslie and teammate Rachel Banham, Reese received a lot of compliments.
Cameron Brink, the Chicago Sky's official Instagram account and analyst Monica McNutt also left positive words for Reese.
Travis Kelce's ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole, artist Latto and Karl-Anthony Towns' girlfriend Jordyn Woods joined the trend and celebrated Reese's achievement.
Even Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's wife McKenzie gave Angel Reese her flowers.
After a terrific rookie season with the Sky, Reese keeps winning and making moves off the court.
Angel Reese announces she'll leave social media again
In addition to this announcement, Angel Reese shared a message on X (formerly Twitter) pumping her appearance on VOGUE with a creative message.
"I “covered up” and gave y’all COVERGIRL. 💋," she wrote on Wednesday.
She shared this tweet on her Instagram story, adding that she will soon leave the platform again.
"ok i'm done popping my [s**t] i'm back off here tomorrow lmaoooo," she wrote.
After her New Year's Eve outfit drew a lot of attention and comments from fans, Reese took some time off Instagram. She returned to make this major announcement, but her return won't last that long.
Meanwhile, she's still preparing to participate in the inaugural season of Unrivaled, the 3-on-3 league set to debut on Jan. 17.
