WNBA fans took shots at DiJonai Carrington after her girlfriend and Indiana Fever forward NaLyssa Smith took to social media on Monday and urged the users to "make Twitter fun again." Smith called for fans to bring back more humor and keep the platform lighthearted rather than overly serious.
"make twitter fun again , this supposed to be where the jokes and trolling at. yall be too serious," Smith wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Many fans responded to Smith's lighthearted request on social media, with some pointing out her girlfriend's sensitivity toward jokes and online trolling.
"When people troll here…. long nails cries about it and call people names," a fan wrote.

During the 2024 WNBA regular season, Connecticut Sun star DiJonai Carrington called out the Indiana Fever fans after playing at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
