The Minnesota Lynx revealed its schedule for the 2025 WNBA season, and they did it in style. In their short video released on their social media, the 2024 season 2nd seed not only jokingly mentioned Caitlin Clark and the New York Liberty but also pop star Taylor Swift.

While revealing its schedule for the Indiana Fever, the Lynx used a cover of their star and the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Napheesa Collier, blocking Clark's shot. The Minnesota Lynx teased both Swift and Clark with text innuendo that appeared below the cover.

"The whole world listened to this artist in 2024. But it wasn't our cup of tea," the text read below the cover.

The video hilariously suggested fans listen to Swift's 2024 release, "Who Is Afraid Of Little Old Me." Interestingly, Clark is a "Swifties" and also attended her "The Eras Tour."

Before welcoming the Golden State Valkyrie to the league in the end, the video revealed the schedule against the New York Liberty. The Liberty defeated the Lynx in the WNBA Finals to win its first-ever WNBA title.

The video hilariously suggested the fans check out the "Robbery" song by Juice WRLD and the "Stolen" song by Chris Brown and Young Thug.

The decisive Game 5 between the Minnesota Lynx and the New York Liberty received a massive backlash after a controversial foul call that allegedly took the title away from the Lynx.

With just over five seconds remaining on the clock and the Lynx leading the game by two points at 60-58. The referees called a foul against Alanna Smith which eventually tied the game and the Liberty won the game in overtime.

Interestingly, after the game, during the postgame media interaction, Minnesota Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve told the media that the title was "stolen" from the Lynx.
