Caitlin Clark, star of the Indiana Fever, talked about her experience attending Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour," which she has attended multiple times. During one of the concerts, Clark also talked about how she interacted with other "Swifties," who gave her friendship bracelets.
From Nov. 1 to 3, Swift was in Indianapolis for her ongoing tour, at the Lucas Oil Stadium. During those dates, Clark said that she got to attend two concerts in a row. A few fans saw the Indiana star in the VIP section, the same area where the artist's boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was positioned.
On Tuesday, Clark attended the Women's Leadership Summit in preparation for the upcoming "The Annika driven by Gainbridge." The top pick of the 2024 WNBA draft talked about her experience watching the pop singer and her exchange with some of the fans.
"Right now, Taylor Swift, I just went two nights in a row in Indianapolis," Clark said. "I've gone three times. I had a ton (of bracelets), all the way up the arm. I had to take them off, my circulation was getting cut off. Everyone was just chucking their bracelets at me."
After seeing Swift perform three times, Clark's admiration for her has increased.
"I've seen her three times now and every time the show has just gotten better and you leave even a bigger fan."
The Eras Tour will continue in Toronto, Canada, following her stretch in Indianapolis. At Toronto, Swift will hold her concert in the city for six nights, from Nov. 14 to 23.
Taylor Swift's boyfriend was excited to meet Caitlin Clark
During the concert, Travis Kelce got the opportunity to meet Caitlin Clark. The two athletes attended the Nov. 2 concert of "The Eras Tour." The Chiefs star talked about his experience meeting the basketball star in the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Jason, called "New Heights," on their Nov. 5 episode.
"(I) saw Caitlin Clark there, got to meet Caitlin, she's awesome," Kelce said." ... it was cool catching up with her. She was into the show, for sure. She was with, there with her mom and a few friends. I think this was like, her third or fourth show she had been to. She’s a Swiftie through and through, loves the show." (20:35)
After the Toronto leg, Swift's performance is scheduled to conclude in Vancouver on December 8. Clark made time during the offseason to see her favorite artist and even attended the concert three times.
