Indiana Fever shade Dijonai Carrington in social media post
The game between the Connecticut Sun and the Indiana Fever made some headlines last season due to an incident involving DiJonai Carrington. She became one of the villains in Indiana after fouling and mocking the Fever's star Caitlin Clark.
Despite the 2024 WNBA being long over, the Indiana Fever threw shade at Carrington through one of their social media posts on Wednesday. The X, formerly known as the "Twitter" handle of the Fever made an animation post alluding to their star Aliyah Boston's defensive dominance in two consecutive seasons.
However, in the animation, they showed Boston with a savage block on Carrington's layup attempt.
Since the post was made, it has gone viral among the WNBA and especially among the Indiana Fever fans.
DiJonai Carrington has proven during the 2024 WNBA season that she is one of the best guards and defensive players in the league. She was named to the First Team All-Defensive Team last season and is coming off a strong campaign where she averaged 12.6 points and 5.0 rebounds, both career highs.
