Minnesota Lynx superstar Napheesa Collier has seemingly moved on from the 2024 WNBA Finals loss and is focused on enjoying the offseason before the debut of her Unrivaled League in January. The 2024 Defensive Player of the Year copied other basketball stars and attended a huge concert on Saturday.
Usher, regarded as one of the best R&B singers of all time, has two concerts scheduled at Target Center, with Collier attending the first one. She wasn't alone and took Lynx teammate Bridget Carleton and Chicago Sky veteran Rachel Banham with her.
Napheesa Collier shared a series of pictures of the show, first showing how close she was to the stage.
"It's usher baby," she captioned the first story.
Then, she showed a video of the performance.
The next story was a video of herself singing with Carleton and Banham.
Last but not least, she reposted a story from Banham.
Napheesa Collier and her friends were having a blast during this show. They haven't been the only ones showing up at concerts. Angel Reese went to an Usher concert during the 2024 WNBA season and Caitlin Clark attended the Taylor Swift concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis this week.
After a terrific season where she became the league's Defensive Player of the Year, finished second in the MVP voting, and led her team to the WNBA Finals, Collier has reasons to be happy. She couldn't make it to the promised land, but her future is bright.
As the Unrivaled debut season approaches, Collier and Breanna Stewart, the co-founders, keep teasing fans and players about the intriguing competition.

Kahleah Copper had positive things to say about Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart's initiative to create Unrivaled and the impact it would have on players.
"I mean just Stewie and Phee you know from players directly," Copper said. "So, you understand players' perspective, you understand things that we would like, what we deserve and I think they pushed for nothing but the best, you appreciated that."
She also mentioned the advantage of staying at home during the WNBA offseason and not looking for opportunities overseas, which forces players to spend time away from family. This was the main reason behind the creation of this league and the results are promising.
