In the final seconds of regulation, Breanna Stewart had the chance to secure a win for the Liberty at the free-throw line but missed her second attempt, sending the game into overtime. In overtime, Napheesa Collier took control, dominating the game and sealing the victory with a decisive game-winning basket.
Collier's husband Alex Bazzell shared on X (formerly Twitter) a candid four-word reaction after witnessing the reigning Defensive Player of the Year’s dazzling performance under pressure.

"You can’t think about it. This is the Finals. No one cares if you’re tired," Collier remarked after the game when asked about the challenges of pushing through a demanding overtime match following a grueling series.
Collier will be back in action on Sunday when the Lynx take on the Liberty in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
