The post featured a picture of the UConn Huskies star wearing a black hoodie with the 3x3 basketball league's catchphrase printed at the front.

"The Future is Unrivaled," Bueckers' hoodie said.

Collier's husband Alex Bazell is the president of the Unrivaled project. Napheesa Collier and NY Liberty star Breanna Stewart co-founded the 3x3 basketball league with hopes of changing the lives of basketball players on the professional scene.

Unrivaled serves as an alternate option for the players playing the WNBA. In previous years, when the WNBA entered the offseason, the players would move abroad to play in overseas leagues to make some extra money. However, Unrivaled now allows them to do the same without moving overseas.

Jan. 17 is the inaugural day for the 3x3 basketball league with the first matchup featuring Collier and the Lunar Owls going against Stewart and her Mist BC.

Napheesa Collier's husband Alex Bazell responds to 'Reality TV' allegations against Unrivaled

Napheesa Collier's husband Alex Bazell made his feelings clear about the 'Reality TV' allegations against the new 3x3 basketball league. In a conversation with Sports Illustrated, the new league's president stood up for the project and the players who have decided to play in it.

"Sports is an entertainment environment," he said. "This isn't a gimmick. We're not here just trying to do clickbait stuff. Our influence and our entertainment come because it's a lot of the top women in the world who play basketball at the highest level."

He also cleared the air about the narratives pushed against the league.

"At the end of the day, there's going to be narratives of what it is and what it isn't until people see the product, all it's going to be is just kind of assumptions. If you're inside the building, you're seeing that the number one focus here is player development."

Unrivaled has managed to sign some of the biggest in the WNBA, including Angel Reese, DiJonai Carrington, Kate Martin, Kahleah Cooper and Aliyah Boston. The inaugural season will run from Jan. 17 to Mar. 10 and will be held in Miami, Florida.
