Napheesa Collier and Sabrina Ionescu might be rivals in the 2024 WNBA Finals, but it's all put to the side off the court. Collier's husband Alex Bazzell reacted to the adorable video of Ionescu meeting their daughter, Mila, following the Minnesota Lynx's win in Game 4.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Bazzell shared the viral video of Mila meeting the New York Liberty star and her husband, Hroniss Grasu, after Game 4 at the Target Center. The basketball trainer also added a photo of Ionescu and Mila at a coffee shop.
"Ever since the Olympics, she is always asking where Sab is," Bazzell wrote.
Despite missing the shot that would have given the New York Liberty their first-ever WNBA championship in Game 4, Sabrina Ionescu was in a great mood after Mila greeted her with a hug. Ionescu and the toddler daughter of Napheesa Collier and Alex Bazzell became close during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Collier and Ionescu were teammates for Team USA, and the Minnesota Lynx star brought her family to France. The two formed a bond, especially with Mila always asking about her.
Ionescu had another shot at giving the Liberty glory like in Game 3, but her 3-point shot at the buzzer missed as the Lynx won Game 4, 82-80. It set up a do-or-die Game 5 that will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Sunday.

Napheesa Collier and Sabrina Ionescu are going to put their friendship on the backburner once Game 5 of the WNBA Finals starts. Collier and Ionescu are looking to win the WNBA championship for the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty, respectively.

The Lynx are trying to win their first WNBA championship since 2017 and fifth overall. The Liberty, on the other hand, are aiming to take home their first-ever title after coming up short in their first five WNBA Finals appearances. They lost in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2023.
Game 5 of the 2024 WNBA Finals is scheduled on Sunday at the Barclays Center, with tip-off at 8 p.m. EST. It will be the final game of the season and the winner will take home the WNBA championship.
