After a big opening night with against Mist BC, Unrivaled co-founder Napheesa Collier and the Lunar Owls BC returned to action on Saturday to face off with Angel Reese and Rose BC, who dropped a 79-73 loss to Vinyl BC on Friday.

For Collier, Friday's season debut saw her lead the way for Lunar Owls with 27 points on 11-19 from the field, along with, 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals. Despite that, she and the team fell to fellow co-founder Breanna Stewart's Mist BC.

Lunar Owls BC vs Rose BC game summary - How did Napheesa Collier and Co. fair against Angel Reese and Rose BC?

After picking up a big win in their season debut on Friday night, Lunar Owls came into Saturday's game against Rose BC with tons of momentum.

In the first half, the team was able to jump out to an early lead, which they were able to maintain throughout the rest of the half despite a push by Rose BC to close the deficit.

Lunar Owls then entered the half up 49-39 As Napheesa Collier led the way for the team in scoring, while Allisha Gray added 15 points of her own. On the flip side, Kahleah Copper led the way for Rose with 12 first-half points, while Angel Reese contributed another eight to the team's total.

In the third quarter Rose BC began to rally, closing the gap on Lunar Owls en route to a hot race to the Elam Ending's target score of 79.

While Rose narrowed the deficit to five, Lunar Owls were able to rally and close out the game, hitting the target score of 79 while Rose finished the game with 20 points, extending Lunar Owls' record to 2-0 while Rose fell to 0-2.
