"Need her talking like this next season" - Fever fans react to Caitlin Clark's heated March Madness moment with father Brent Clark in attendance 

Indiana Fever's Caitlin Clark thrives because of her competitiveness and passion. She seemingly kept her emotions in check during her rookie WNBA season. Clark had a few moments where her emotions took over, but it wasn't as frequent when she was with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

One of her most heated moments came during Iowa's NCAA 2nd round contest against West Virginia in March. After scoring on an and-one floater, Clark had a fiery reaction. Her father, Brent Clark, who attended that clash, also seemed fired up.

The video resurfaced Saturday on X.

Indiana Fever fans were hyped to see Caitlin Clark's fiery reaction. Many expressed their wish to see this version of the reigning Rookie of the Year in her sophomore WNBA season.

One fan wrote:

"Please come back to me. I need her talking like this next season."

"iowa caitlin please come back to me next season," another fan said.

One fan pointed out her father Brent's reaction.

"Next season, we’re getting this psycho back," one user wrote.

One fan hailed Clark's "aura," saying:

"No matter how great your coaches are, you cannot teach aura"

Caitlin Clark's dad Brent Clark has been heavily involved in her basketball career

Caitlin Clark's dad, Brent Clark, was nearly present at all of her college games. He was heavily involved, too. He also coached her when she was growing up. That relationship seemingly was on display when Brent and Caitlin argued over the former Hawkeyes star's back-and-forth with the referees during the 2024 March Madness round one game against Holy Cross.

Brent once said he saw himself in his daughter, citing their passion for the game.

"I see a lot of myself at times in Caitlin in terms of her passion for the game," he told KCRG-TV9 in February 2023.

"All in all, that's really what drives her and makes her the player that she is."

Caitlin Clark's dad also had some involvement in her excellence as a 3-point shooter. When she was young, she asked her dad to pull out some grass from their driveway and make it more concrete, so she could shoot more from a distance.

"Cause it was like kind of slanted, our driveway was slanted so I only had a three-point line on one side of the driveway. So I told my dad he had to tear up all this grass, and he did," Clark told Jon Wertheim on CBS’ 60 Minutes.

Brent Clark was also an athlete at Simpson College Iowa. He played basketball and baseball. Brent made the First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Conference in basketball.
