Model and entrepreneur Kayla Nicole offered Angel Reese her two cents on dating athletes. Earlier, the Chicago Sky forward revealed she could only see herself dating professional athletes, as they would most likely understand her busy schedule. Reese spoke to Nicole on her 'Unapologetically Angel' podcast where the latter talked about her previous relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.
When Reese asked about the aftermath of the relationship, Nicole felt there was a backlash that she dealt with, impacting her to date.
"I don't know. I just think that there's something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people, and it's unfortunate because I've never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash."

Kelce has been dating pop icon Taylor Swift for the past year and has stated numerous times that he is comfortable with the 'Cruel Summer' star's level of fame. Kayla, on her part, opined she learned her lesson after being in a high-profile relationship.
Angel Reese spills the tea on her love life, says she's single
While making it clear that she was single, Angel Reese also added specifics about what she looks for in a relationship. In the Sept. 19 episode of her podcast, the No. 7 pick of the 2024 WNBA draft said she wanted a tall partner with 6'7" or 6'8" as the ideal height. Reese added that her ideal man would be an NBA player.
The reveal came after weeks of rumor mills that churned linking her to Detroit Pistons power forward Jalen Duren. In one of the podcast episodes earlier that month, the former LSU star did not confirm whether or not she was seeing someone, but instead added that one of the ways to win her over would be by spending quality time.
On the season front, Angel Reese's wrist fracture sidelined her for the last few games of the Chicago Sky's regular season. The team failed to make the playoffs as they won just two games in their rookie's absence. She ended her impressive maiden season in the WNBA averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds. The forward was one of the candidates in contention for Rookie of the Year honors, which was eventually won by Caitlin Clark.
As for her off-court life, Angel Reese made her expectations clear for a potential relationship, and safe to say, she will be thankful for Nicole sharing her insights on dating a professional athlete.
