Caitlin Clark keeps drawing attention from people within the WNBA and even folks outside the league. Amid an impressive rookie season, Clark keeps getting a lot of praise and some have even nominated her for a potential position of power.
After former President of the United States Donald Trump picked J.D. Vance as his running mate for a second presidential run, the Democratic Party has some questions to answer regarding Joe Biden's fitness to run to get another four years in office.
Senator John Kennedy had jokes about the options for the Democratic Party, naming Hollywood star Tom Hanks and Clark as potential candidates to join Biden.
“I think within the next few weeks, my Democratic friends have gotta make a choice. They’ve got to either bury the president or bed him. There is no middle ground here,” said Sen. John Kennedy (R., La.)….“Nominate either Tom Hanks or Caitlin Clark," Adam Rubenstein shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Clark is making a terrific impression during her first season in the WNBA. After the Indiana Fever started the season winning only one game in the first 10, they've bounced back and now rank seventh in the league, boasting an 11-14 record and aiming for the playoffs.
A lot of people have taken notice of her good performances, and even as a joke, she's made it to the highest places in American society.
Dan Patrick explains why Caitlin Clark is the rightful WNBA ROY this season
During Monday's edition of his show, Dan Patrick shared his thoughts on Caitlin Clark's Rookie of the Year candidacy. The No. 1 overall pick has been pitted against Angel Reese in recent weeks, but Patrick has a clear favorite for the award.
"Caitlin Clark has the bull's-eye on her back every single game. You must stop her. I don't think if you look at Chicago, you say, 'If we stop Angel Reese, we're going to win.' And that's why this is a silly argument. Caitlin Clark is the rookie of the year. Angel Reese is a wonderful player, absolutely. She plays hard on both ends, but she's not the rookie of the year."
Patrick responded to Dawn Staley claiming that Clark wasn't deserving of this award since she was expected to be this good. Reese has dominated with her double-doubles, but Clark is on another level compared to the Chicago Sky rookie.
