The next WNBA draft is closing in and the fans have different opinions on the number one pick concerning Paige Bueckers and Olivia Miles. On Monday, a fan on X, formerly Twitter, made a post claiming that Olivia Miles is more deserving of the number one spot in the next draft.

This sparked an argument among the fans who dropped into the post's comments section to express their opinions. While some fans took Miles' side others accepted that Bueckers wasn't having the greatest season this year.

Other fans joined the bandwagon and expressed their opinions in their comments.

"I agree she definitely should," a fan commented in support.

"Agreed. Paige is overrated and olivia is underrated. She would get so much more positive media attention if it wasn’t for the fact, she goes to a Catholic school," another fan said.

The Huskies star is averaging 19.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game whereas the Notre Dame guard is averaging 16.9 ppg 6.8 rpg and 7.1 apg. Miles is playing as a better point guard compared to Bueckers this season and it has the potential to impact both players' rankings in the next draft.

Analyst touts Olivia Miles to Chicago amid Paige Bueckers 2025 WNBA draft rumors

On Sunday, NBC Sports' Natalie Esquire expressed her opinion regarding Olivia Miles. The former lawyer turned sports content creator and analyst seemingly prefers Miles over others and expressed her opinion to see her join the Chicago Sky.

"Hush Owen. Olivia needs to go to Chicago."

Esquire expressed her opinion in a comment under Owen Pence's post where the Chicago Tribune reporter states that he would choose Miles as the second pick if he were in the LA Sparks' place.

The NBC Sports analyst is an avid supporter of the Chicago Sky and Angel Reese. However, the Sky have the third pick in the draft and their chances of drafting either of the top two players in the draft are quite low.
