Ta'Niya Latson and the Florida State Seminoles just gave us one of the most exciting moments of the college basketball season. Latson, the nation's leading scorer (26.6 ppg), took matters into her own hands to make sure her team didn't leave Carmichael Arena without the win.

With just 3.5 seconds left, Latson got the ball from an inbound pass before pump-faking her way out of the rim. Her layup sealed an 86-84 nail-bitting win for the Seminoles against No. 13 North Carolina. Some of her WNBA colleagues took notice of what she did.

Former Caitlin Clark's teammates Erica Wheeler and Lexie Brown took to Instagram to give her flowers for her heroics.

"One of them ones," wrote Wheeler. "Keep poppin' it."
"That is super tough!!!!!" added Brown.

FSU coach Brooke Wyckoff also tipped her hat, raving about how she's never bothered or fazed by the pressure.

"Ta'Niya does what she does best. We were able to get the ball in the hands of our best player, and she went and did what amazing players do," Wyckoff said.
"I'm just so proud of her poise. It's not easy. That game was a battle of toughness. It was physical. Carolina is obviously a really, really good basketball team. I'm just so proud of how we battled from beginning to end."

Latson also acknowledged that she had been dreaming of a moment like this.

"I've been wanting this moment. I've been wanting to embrace it, and Coach (Wyckoff) all week has been saying, 'embrace the heart,'" Latson said.
